Thunderbolt 3 and USB Type-C
Intel made an announcement at the Asia’s biggest IT tradeshow that it would be unifying Thunderbolt 3 with USB Type-C port. The supported transfer rate for Thunderbolt 3 is 40GBPS but, USB Type-C comes at a transfer rate of 20GBPS.
