T-Mobile Nokia Astound releasing on April 6th

Bangalore: Nokia has announced the launching of new smartphone 'Nokia Astound'. Nokia is joining T-Mobile to offer an affordable smartphone for the U.S. market. It will debut on April 6th for $79.99.
Astound is based on Symbian 3 and is a rebrand version of C7.It features 3.5 inch AMOLED touch screen, an 8 MP rear facing camera with dual-LED flash that is capable of 720p HD video capture. It also has a front facing camera for video calls.
The phone comes preloaded with the Ovi Maps, Ovi Store with support for carrier billing, as well as Swype, Slacker Radio, and Fruit Ninja. Astound also support T-Mobile's Wi-Fi calling feature and has an embedded NFC chip. It offers some enhancement like addition of keyboard.
Nokia also informed that the product will be offered at third party dealers and at retailers including Costco Wholesale (COST), RadioShack (RSH), Sam's Club, Target (TGT) Mobile locations, and Wal-Mart Stores (WMT).
