Tecno to enter the wearable and laptop market in India next year
At a gathering in Dubai, Tecno introduced its new flagship smartphone line, the Phantom X2. The Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro were introduced by the firm. Both smartphones, which boast improved camera experiences, are powered by the MediaTek Dimesity 9000 chipset.
Arijeet Talapatra, CEO of Tecno, said in a statement that the devices will be released in India in the first week of January. "We will debut the handsets in India in the first week of January, and by the end of January, the devices will be available both online and offline throughout the nation," Talapatra stated.
At the same presentation as the two smartphones, Tecno also unveiled the Megabook S1, its most recent laptop. The thin and light laptop runs Windows 11 and is powered by an Intel Core i7 CPU from the 12th generation. Speaking of the smartphone's introduction in India, Talapatra told that the business intends to enter the laptop market there the next year. In the first half of 2023, Tecno may introduce the Megabook S1 in India, he continued.
"The laptop will be introduced by the corporation in Africa first. However, the company has had a lot of positive feedback from customers, so there's a chance we'll release the laptop in the first half of 2023. Additionally, in order to gather input, the laptop will first be introduced in a few markets, such as Delhi and Mumbai, before being made available throughout all of India.
