Australian-born Professor Elizabeth Blackburn led a team of scientists who discovered enzymes that can control and even reverse aging in human cells. The only darker side to this innovation is that, it is not yet confirmed whether these cells won’t induce cancer as a side effect while inducing immortality. The team won Nobel Prize for this finding in the year 2009.
