Artificial Intelligence and the Rest!

Artificial intelligence seems to be the future of gadgets. We have already seen Siri and a lot of mock Siri’s been developed with a lot of enthusiasm. People are working on developing gesture recognition, augmented reality and voice controls.

Tablets with detachable keyboards seem to be the order of the day. Laser projection keyboard devices are already out in the market though this technology needs a lot more work. Just a month back in June Microsoft announced a protective cover that also functions as a keyboard for its new tablet Surface. Intel Corp have developed a ultrabook which is a hybrid and can be detached from the keyboard and be converted into a tablet.

Waterproof electronic gadgets are another trend catching up. In a gadget event held at Madrid in early 2012 saw manufactures proudly throw their tablets into water tanks to show off the new waterproof feature of the tablets.

All this sounds like a scene out of our favorite super hero movie. Though all this is under development and few are already out in the market researchers and manufactures will have to put in more effort into coming out with perfect sci-fi gadgets.
