Sony To Release The Midrange Marvel Xperia M
Bangalore: Sony’s latest affordable Smartphone, Sony Xperia M is set to launch in third quarter of this year both in single and dual SIM versions. Although the device doesn’t look quite impressive, it seems like a good midrange phone, reports 3G.co.uk.
Despite belonging to the midrange category, Sony has looked into the aspect of build quality, delivering a slim handset with a back plate made of aluminium and a stylish look. The rumored specifications include a 4-inch screen with 480*854 resolution with a pixel density of 245 pixels per inch, powered by 1GHZ dual-core processor along with Adreno 305 graphics and 1GB RAM. It is said to have an in built storage of 4GB of which 2.8GB is user-accessible. The storage can be further expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card.
Camera wise, it will have a 5 megapixel which seems to be a bit weaker than many high end handsets equipped with 13MP camera. Besides, the phone is not equipped with options such as HDR and Panorama modes but can shoot 720p video and is backed by 0.3 MP VGA front facing camera.
The device will have a reasonable battery of 1750mAh which promises to offer around 10 hours talk time and up to 23 hours of standby time. In terms of connectivity, it includes Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. As of now, there’s no word on price but being a midrange handset it’s not likely to cost high.
