Sony Launches Xperia Ion and SmartWatch in India

Along with the launch of the Xperia Ion, Sony also made an announcement about its Sony SmartWatch for Indian markets. The SmartWatch has been a success in other countries so Sony has decided to launch the watch in India as well. The watch comes with an OLED colour display which is available with different colour straps. Along with this the phone also has a feature that allows you to connect and sync with the Android device and it allows you to read your messages, emails, stay connected on your social networking sites as well.
But as expected, Sony said that the watch would only be compactable with Sony handsets. The two smart devices can be synced through Bluetooth 3.0. You can also download apps from Google Play Store. The watch weighs 15 grams. Another aspect that is still not clear is if the watch is water proof or not.
