Apple puts an insane amount of effort into improving the camera and it shows 1.6 seconds which is the fastest of all to capture image in the handset. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were a huge step up from the 5 series in terms of design, performance and battery life. On paper, the 6 Plus has 'only' an 8 Megapixel sensor while some of the others on this list are packing 13 or even 16 Megapixels. Point to be underlined is that it really uses those pixels well.
