Samsung Introduces Dual-SIM Galaxy S Duos


Bangalore: Smartphone giant Samsung has officially announced the dual-SIM 'Galaxy S Duos' smartphone. The Galaxy S Duos will be available by next month in the European market followed by other countries including India.  

The Galaxy S Duos will support dual-SIM with dual standby for GSM network. It also comes with ‘dual-SIM always on’ feature which helps to receive calls on one SIM while talking from the other.

The device features 4 inch TFT touch screen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is powered with Cortex A5 processor at a clock speed of 1 GHz along with 512 MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich onboard.  

Other features includes 4 GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for expanding memory up to 32 GB, 5 mega pixel camera at the back with auto focus and LED flash and there is also a front facing VGA camera for video calls and chats. For connectivity it comes with 3G, Wi-Fi with hotspot feature, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP and GPS with A-GPS. The company has not yet disclosed the pricing of this smartphone.
