Samsung Galaxy Tab S To Feature Fingerprint Scanner
BANGALORE: Samsung introduced its tablets into the technology market way back in 2010. The first version of the tablet had a 7-inch display with a single core 1GHZ processor, but now Samsung is all set to launch its new series of tablets with Octa core processors and a better display with a fingerprint scanner.
According to the sources close to Samsung, the latest device comes with two screen size options, an 8.4-inch and a 10.1-inch screen with an AMOLED display of 2560x1600 pixels resolution. Supposedly, these tablets will be the first ones to get this display in the world. The highlight is, Tab S sports a Finger Print scanner in the home button just like the one in the Galaxy S5.
On the flipside, the Tab S comes with an Octa core Exynos 5 processor with four cortex A-17 cores running at a clock speed of 1.9 GHZ and four cortex A-7 cores with a clock speed of 1.3 GHZ including a 3GB of RAM. On the optics side, it is expected to pack an 8 Mega pixel camera with 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity. The tablet comes with a latest version of the Android OS 4.4 kitkat.
