Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Available For Pre-Order in India


Bangalore: With the launch of Galaxy Note 10.1, Samsung is trying to capture the tablet market from Appls’s iPad. Samsung has already started taking pre orders on their official website and as an introductory offer they are also providing a free bookcover worth 3,249 along with the tablet.

Earlier in the month of August 2012, Samsung officially announced the launch of the Note 10.1 towards the mid of the month. And Samsung has indeed kept to their promise by opening the pre-orders for the tablet.

The new Galaxy Note 10.1 like the name says comes with a 10.1 inch LCD display touch screen with a resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels. The tablet is powered by a powerful 1.4 GHz processor backed by a 1 GB RAM. The tablet is equipped with an S- Pen Stylus which makes writing and taking notes on this tablet a pleasure. It also comes with a 5 mega pixel rear camera and a 1.9 mega pixel front camera which allows for video calling. The tablet functions on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

What makes this tablet stand out from the rest is the multi-tasking window option which allows the user to open two programmes and view and work on them simultaneously.

The tablet comes in three memory types, 16 GB, 32GB and 64 GB and all the three variants have a slot for the microSD card which lets the user to expand the memory up to 32 GB.

Right now if you are ordering on the Samsung India site the only memory variant that is available is 16 GB and there is no news of the availability of the other 2 variants as yet.
