Samsung Debuts Entry-Level Smartwatch 'Galaxy Watch FE'
Samsung has launched the Galaxy Watch FE, a new entry-level smartwatch designed to make advanced wellness features more accessible to a broader audience. Announced for global release this summer, the Galaxy Watch FE will be available in three colors: Black, Pink Gold, and Silver.
The Galaxy Watch FE aims to support users in their wellness journey with comprehensive health insights and advanced features, housed in a 40mm case. “We’re excited to add the new Galaxy Watch FE to our wearables portfolio, offering more people access to personalised health insights that empower them to be motivated and stay healthier day and night”, said Junho Park, VP and Head of the Galaxy Ecosystem Product Planning Team, Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics.
Equipped with Samsung’s advanced BioActive Sensor, the Galaxy Watch FE provides a range of powerful fitness and wellness functions. These include real-time heart rate monitoring, blood pressure tracking, and ECG capabilities. The smartwatch also supports over 100 different workout modes, allowing users to track their fitness progress directly from their wrist.
The Galaxy Watch FE emphasizes heart health with features like HR Alert, which detects abnormally high or low heart rates, and the Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN) to monitor for atrial fibrillation (Afib). Users can gain deeper insights into their cardiovascular health, making the device a valuable tool for proactive health management.
In addition to its fitness capabilities, the Galaxy Watch FE offers advanced sleep features, including sleep pattern monitoring and personalized sleep coaching. It helps users create a sleep-friendly environment, aiming to improve overall sleep quality and well-being.
