RIM Unveils BlackBerry Curve 9320


Bangalore: Research In Motion (RIM) unveils a new stylish smartphone- BlackBerry Curve 9320- the first handset in the Curve series to feature WiFi hotspot functionality. It also features the entire core BlackBerry messaging that keeps people connected all the time and also offers global 3G connectivity. 

"The new BlackBerry Curve 9320 is designed to make it incredibly easy for users to stay socially-connected," said Carlo Chiarello, EVP, Smartphone Business at Research In Motion. "The new BlackBerry Curve 9320 will be especially popular with customers upgrading to a smartphone for the first time and existing Curve customers looking for a step up in speed and functionality."

The BB Curve 9320 features 2.44 inch display with 320x240 pixel screen resolution and full QWERTY keypad along with a dedicated BBM button for instant access to BlackBerry Messenger. The smartphone also has 2 megapixel fixed focus camera, stereo FM radio, media player and expandable memory up to 32 GB via microSD card.

As of now the company has just announced the device, the price and availability details are yet to be disclosed. By the device specification it seems that it would be in budget smartphone category and is expected to be priced around 12,000.
