Philips Unveiled Xenium Mobiles

Bangalore: Philips re-entered the Indian mobile market after eight years by unveiling six models through its Chinese owner Shenzhen Sang Fei Consumer Communications. The new series of phones is named Xenium, The six phones got launched are X806, X518, X523,X513 , X116 and X121.
The Xenium X806 features a 5MP autofocus camera with flash, a 3-inch 262K colour touchscreen and expandable external memory that can be expanded upto 8GB. The Xenium X518 is equipped with a 2.8-inch TFT resistive touchscreen with widgets, a 2MP camera with flash and expandable memory up to 16GB. The Xenium X523 can be availed in two colours - red and black and carries a 3.2MP camera with flash and comes with an expandable memory up to 32GB whilst providing 50 days standby time and 16 hours of talk time. The Xenium X513 comes with a 2000MAh battery and provides up to 80 hours of music playback with storage for 1000 phonebook entries and SMSes..The X116 phone has external memory up to 4GB and standby time of one month, The X121 has expandable memory up to 2GB, standby time of a month.
The Philips Xenium X806, X518, X523 and X513 come pre-loaded with RDS FM radio and Bluetooth stereo music.
The dual-sim Phones are based on energy-conserving Xenium technology that allows them to work for weeks without a recharge. The Chinese company Sang Fei anticipates that the above feature, along with the 'Philips' brand will support it to sell 1 million handsets by March 2012.
The handsets are priced between Rs 1,700 and 8,200.
