Panasonic Unveils Lumix G9II Camera with Upgraded Sensor in India
Panasonic Life Solutions India has introduced the Lumix G9II, a new digital mirrorless camera, as the latest addition to its premier G series lineup tailored for the Indian market. The camera boasts cutting-edge features, including a state-of-the-art sensor, a new engine, and the inaugural integration of Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) technology within the LUMIX G Series. Anticipated to elevate both photographic and videographic capabilities, this technology promises improved performance and rapid response times.
The Lumix G9II body has been priced at Rs 1,74,990 and a Lumix G9II combo kit with a lens, including Leica DG VARIO-ELMARIT 12-60mm/F2.8-4.0 ASPH/ Power O.I.S carries a price tag of Rs 2,28,990. LUMIX G9II will be available across all Panasonic brand shops, Lumix Lounges and dealer networks across India. The new 25.2MP Live MOS sensor, paired with a new engine, delivers high-resolution images in improved quality with rich colour tones. The PDAF technology ensures precise auto-focus and swift tracking of rapidly moving subjects.
Furthermore, the camera showcases an impressive burst shooting capacity of 60 frames per second in AFC mode and 75 frames per second in AFS mode. Enhanced by pre-burst recording, which commences before the shutter release, it ensures the seizing of pivotal moments, particularly when capturing subjects in dynamic motion. Additionally, the camera enhances its video capabilities by supporting features like C4K/4K at 120p/100p and FHD at 280p. The well-regarded Lumix image stabilization system sees further enhancements, now incorporating an 8-stop B.I.S. (Body Image Stabilizer) to deliver superior stability for video imaging.
This collaborative improvement extends improved assistance for capturing dynamic scenes through handheld shooting, overcoming any challenge that a user encounters. Furthermore, the Lumix experience is enriched with the introduction of better monochrome photo styles. This includes the distinguished Leica Monochrome, complemented by Real TIme LUT for personalized colour settings, providing photographers with a versatile palette.
