#6 Samsung Uproar M100

Samsung SPH-M100 (UpRoar) launched in 2000, was the first cell phone to have MP3 music capabilities. A whopping 64 MB of memory was available, which was big at the time, offered an hour of music. The phone also included RealNetworks's RealJukebox for managing MP3 files, and a separate USB cable for downloading MP3 files to its 64MB of RAM for storing music, then about two hours' worth.

The other highlighting features included were- voice-enabled dialing and personal-information management, which made Uproar a fine tool for both work and life.

The phone has the honor of featuring in All-TIME 100 greatest and most influential gadgets from 1923 to 2010 by Peter Ha in Time.
