Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro Roll Out Camera Capture Feature via Play Store Update
Nothing has introduced a new feature called Camera Capture to its Essential Space hub on the Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro. Announced earlier this month, the AI-powered Essential Space now includes this function, allowing users to snap photos and extract relevant information using optical character recognition (OCR). The update began rolling out on Wednesday.
With Camera Capture, users can quickly capture important information by pressing the Essential Key on the side of the device while using the camera app. The images will be stored separately from regular photos in the Essential Space rather than the device’s gallery app, ensuring a dedicated space for these captured pieces of information.
In addition to Camera Capture, Essential Space is set to receive more features in the coming months. These upcoming additions include Flip to Record, Focused Search, and Smart Collections.
The update to Essential Space is available via the Google Play Store, and it requires the device to be running Nothing OS 3.1. Users can manually check for updates by navigating to Settings > System > System Updates. The update also brings improvements to the camera and the Always-On Display (AOD) feature on the Nothing Phone 3a series.
With the rollout of this update, Nothing continues to innovate with its AI-powered ecosystem, enhancing the functionality of the Phone 3a and 3a Pro.
