Moto X70 Air Unveiled with Snapdragon Chip and 50MP Cameras

Motorola has officially announced the Moto X70 Air, its slimmest smartphone yet, ahead of its China launch on October 31. Measuring just under 6mm thick, the device is designed to rival ultra-thin phones like the iPhone Air and Galaxy S25 Edge. The X70 Air will be released globally as the Motorola Edge 70, starting with Europe on November 5.
The smartphone features a 6.7 inch 1.5K pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It carries Pantone validation and SGS eye protection, offering a premium visual experience.
Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. For thermal management, it includes a 3D vapour chamber, while the Adreno GPU ensures smooth gaming and multimedia performance. It comes with Android 16 out of the box.
The camera setup is impressive, with three 50MP sensors , one for the main shooter, one ultra-wide, and one on the front for selfies and video calls. Motorola promises flagship level photography in a slim form factor.

The phone houses a 4,800mAh battery, supporting 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. It also offers IP68 and IP69 water/dust resistance, NFC, 5G, and a fingerprint scanner.
Moto X70 Air will be available in 256GB and 512GB variants and three Pantone-certified colours, Gadget Grey, Lily Pad, and Bronze Green. Pricing details are yet to be announced.
