Microsoft Launches Office 2016 And Office 365 In India

BENGALURU: Microsoft has now unleashed its latest Microsoft Office 2016 apps in India.  The apps are the latest addition to Office 365, Microsoft's cloud-based subscription service that offers the office suite, according to TOI.

Microsoft now has come up with a new model where the subscribers can pay according to the feature they want to update. Apart from Windows, Microsoft has also launched its Office 2016 for the Mac as one-time purchase offer, bundled with several other Office 365 offerings too. The New Office 2016 apps are optimized for Windows 10 and include the new Sway to create shareable and interactive stories.

 It also supports Windows Hello that logs in users into Windows 10 and Office 365 in just one step. As far as Microsoft is concerned, the Office 2016 apps with the Office 365 deliver new capabilities for better enterprise security and protection. Microsoft has announced the prices for the Office 2016 in India and it starts from 3299 per annum and Office 2016 Professional Plus is priced at 33,911.

The new Office 2016 apps are also available in 14 languages in India and 47 languages across the world and require Windows 7 or later to work. Not only this, Office 365 subscribers can also choose to download the new Office 2016 apps as part of their subscription. Automatic updates will begin rolling out to consumer subscribers next month. Office 2016 is also available as a one-time purchase for both PCs and Mac.
