MapMyIndia Launches CarPad5 Tablet for

Bangalore: Off late almost every other day a new tablet is released in the already overcrowded tablet market in India. The struggle to capture the attention of the audience and remain in the market is immense.
The recent entry into the tablet market is the CarPad 5, from MayMyIndia. The tablet is an android based tablet which also functions as a GPS navigator, a phone and a 3G tablet. The CarPad 5 has a 5-inch capacitive touch screen display. The tablet is powered by a 1 GHz single core processor which is manufactured by Samsung. The device has an internal memory of 4 GB. It comes with built-in 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity as well.
As the name suggests the tablet has MapMyIndia’s latest mapping technology which is called Aura. This mapping system has real-time traffic updates, house level search and maps which are tailored for Indian routes and roads.
Apart from this the tablet also gives the user turn-by-turn voice navigation along with augmented reality with 3D landmarks. It also features a detailed map of even houses and shops as well. It also has city travel guides and rules and regulations. The map covers over 6.3 million places.
The tablet also gives the users the option of making calls, messaging, checking mails and chatting as well. Since it is an Android based tablet the user also has access to the Google Play Store from where they are free to download applications and games.
