LG launches LG GT540 Android phone at 12, 990


Bangalore: LG has launched its second Android phone in the market, the LG GT540. Users can upgrade Android version 1.6 to 2.1 version. The phone which comes with its latest media file sharing technology bundles together all forms of communication and enables users to immerse themselves with several Android apps. The phone is priced at 12,990. The phone offers automatic account synchronization with all Google mobile services and social networking functions in a multimedia environment. A list of recommended apps for the phone will be provided by LG App Advisor. Essential Google mobile services and social networking sites can be accessed easily and users can even search phone's contact list at the same time. The LG GT540 comes with a media player which enables users to watch DivX and Xvid videos directly. The integrated 3MP camera captures vibrant and crisp images and supports geo-tagging, auto face-tagging and face-to-action technology. Users can add music and text videos directly as the phone comes with a built in video editor and besides that, users can link together mini movies and upload to social networking sites.
