Infinix Note 50s 5G+ has been launched in India recently, providing an exciting package for price-sensitive buyers. It is available at Rs14,999 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and Rs16,999 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It can be purchased only on Flipkart.
One of the salient features of the Note 50s 5G+ is its 6.78-inch Full HD+ 3D curved AMOLED touchscreen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut support. The screen is sheathed in Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and provides the same kind of stunning visuals and fluid scrolling to improve the overall user experience.
Under the hood, the phone is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor, supported by 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a maximum of 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The configuration provides seamless multitasking and seamless performance for everyday activities as well as gaming. The phone comes with Android 15 running on Infinix's XOS 15 skin, which features AI-based functionality such as the Folax AI Assistant, AI Wallpaper Generator, and Smart Translator.
Photography buffs would love the 64MP Sony IMX682 main rear camera, with the ability to record at 4K, 30fps, and a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Other camera features include dual video recording, AI software such as the AI Eraser, and AIGC Mode.
The Note 50s 5G+ comes with a 5,500mAh battery that is capable of 45W wired All-Round FastCharge 3.0, which charges from 0 to 100 percent in about 60 minutes. Low-temperature charging mode and bypass charging are also present to retain battery health under heavy usage.
Design-wise, the smartphone has a slender design with a thickness of only 7.6mm. It is available in three colors: Marine Drift Blue with a vegan leather rear panel that has been embossed with a fragrance by using Microencapsulation Technology, Titanium Grey, and Burgundy Red with metallic colors.
The gadget also has an IP64 level of dust and water resistance and an MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification, which guarantees resistance against day-to-day challenges.
Though the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ provides great features at its price class, some sacrifices are the lack of expandable storage and an ultra-wide camera lens. There's also the fact that users won't see the 144Hz refresh rate implemented system-wide, and no headphone jack.
All in all, the Infinix Note 50s 5G+ has a robust value offering for consumers who want a well-equipped smartphone without spending too much.
