The Google Nexus 7 continues to gain prominence from its customers even after rumors of the second version of a tablet from the search giant is still at large.

The Nexus 7, coming in 16GB 32 GB versions have a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor at its heart, powered by Android 4.1 OS. Google Nexus 7 was recently launched in India at a cost of 15,999. The display of the tablet is developed with IPS technology which has a 1280x800 HD resolution. Portability being one of its major strengths, it also features 1GB RAM, front facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Near Field Communications.

The manufacturers say that the tablet has a 9 hour playback and also has a 300 hour standby mode when it is fully charged. A spectrum that has a mass appeal, Nexus 7 should definitely be on ones buying option for a budget tablet.
