iPhone5S, 5C To Hit Indian Stores On November 1

Bangalore: As a part of Apple Inc’s next phase of worldwide phone launch, the company’s two models, iPhone5C and phone 5S will reach 25 countries on October end Including India, on November 1.

Apple has not yet revealed the Indian price tag for iPhone5S and 5C but the 16 GB variant in U.S. costs $649 and $549, respectively.

iPhone 5S comes with an aluminum body and boasts of features like finger print recognition (TouchID) embedded as a part of home button. iPhone 5C on the other hand has plastic body, aimed to be sell at a mid-range price. Its hardware features are similar to the existing iPhone 5.

Predictably the Indian prices for 5C and 5S is likely to be around 40,000 and 50,000 respectively.

In the earlier reports, Apple stated that every customer who makes a purchase of either of the Smartphones at its retail stores will be offered free personal setup service, to help them customize their phone with latest apps from the app store. However, since Apple does not operate any retail stores in India, it is not yet clear whether similar service will be offered by its authorized distributors in India.
