iPhone4 to come to India in September
Bangalore: Apple is all set to offer its highly demanded and successful gadget iPhone 4 in India in September. After launching it in Europe and U.S., Indian technoholics are eagerly waiting for the gadget, which has been very successful in the western markets to arrive in the country.

iPhone 4 operates its functionality on iOS4 which enables the device to run more than one program simultaneously. It features FaceTime, which supports video calling, and Apple's new Retina 960?640 pixels display, the highest resolution display ever built into a phone. It also comes with HD video recording, Apple's A4 processor, a 3-axis gyro and up to 40 percent longer talk time with a new design of glass and stainless steel. Apple claims that the new iPhone is the thinnest smartphone in the world, at 9.3 millimeters. The iPhone 4 features the new LG LCD Display technology called In-Plane Switching technology (IPS) for enhanced viewing experience.

The 16GB version of the device is expected to cost around Rs. 35,500 while the 32GB version will be priced at around Rs. 41,500. The cost of this new device in western markets for 16GB and 32GB is set at $199 and $299 respectively.

3: Yes the citizens of US always enjoy the new for less. But iPhone never failed because of cost, but it failed because of restricted features and professional friendly features.

iPhone 4 would fail through the world as there is a problem with the signal interference as the steel body is being used for antenna and the signal fails when we hold it in hand.

4: With Dollar@ INR 45, 35,500 is equal to $788, while the same iPhone is available in US at $199. Do you think people, and particularly Indians, are that big a fool to shell out that extra $589? They can buy 3 more iPhones at that a price.

With such usurious price tag, iPhone is all set to be royally rejected by The Indian Consumer.

In US the phone comes with a 2yr contract, with mandatory monthly fee, which amnts to arnd 800-900 dollars for 2 years. Also the call rate in india is very much low and therefore it has to b compensated the other way.

6: I would rather Buy HTC EVO 4G which has much better specs if you are not looking for aesthetics.
But hey, the problem is sprint is not in India and HTC may not be offering it here any soon or may be at all.

7: The price in US is low due to need to sign a 2 years(1 year atleast) contract with Specific Mobile operators. But still the difference is huge.
