iOS 9 And El Capitan To Come With New Security Features

BENGALURU: Apple is releasing its two-factor authentication scheme for iOS 9 and OS El Capitan, which will be included in the beta version for the two upcoming operating systems, an improvement to its existing one launched in 2013, reports ZD Net.

This update will enable its user to do a two-step verification, which is easier and credible than the previous version, where you have to enter a four digit. In this Model, a six-digit verification code is sent to the user’s device. It doesn’t give a chance to a stranger signing in with the same Apple ID from any another device.

The company has removed the option of recovery key, which helped the users to gain access in case the device is lost. Along with removal of recovery key, a new procedure is being introduced where the user has to wait for few days to regain access.
