HTC Desire 501, 601 and 700, Mid-Range Smartphones Launched In India
Bangalore: HTC has expanded its desire range of Smartphones with addition of new mid-range handsets, Desire 501, Desire 601, and Desire 700 in India. All these new releases come with dual SIM support.
These new devices from HTC which were announced in Taiwan recently have already made it to Indian stores with Desire 501 carry a price tag of 16,890, Desire 601 and 700 carrying a price tag of
24,190 and
33,050 respectively.
While Desire 700 and Desire 601 Smartphones apparently run on an unspecified Android Jelly Bean mobile platform, Desire 501 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Desire 501 lacks BlinkFeed, the proprietary user interface by HTC, when compared to the other two devices.
The HTC Desire 501 sports a 4.3-inch WVGA display at 480x800 pixels resolutions. Under the hood it houses a 1.15 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. When it comes to optics of the device, it sports a 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor. There is a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. The phone comes with 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 32 GB via micro SD.
