Gigabyte Unveils World's Fastest, Lightest Notebook


Bangalore: The well known motherboard maker – Gigabyte is now again in news with the launch world’s lightest 11.6 inch notebook. Previously the company revealed two new game changing Ultrabooks which comes with Thunderbolt and Nvidia GPU and therefore they are meant to be the best competitor to the high-performing Apple MacBook Air.

The company claims that the Gigabyte X11 is the world’s fastest and lightest notebook weighing just 975 grams. The laptop is made using carbon fiber which is light and extremely strong. The notebook is powered with third generation Intel Core processor, runs on Windows 7 Home Premium. It comes with has 11.5 inch LED backlight display, 128 GB SSD storage and for connectivity it has USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. The device also comes with Intel Rapid Start Technology and Intel Anti-Theft Technology.

The Gigabyte X11 will be first showcased at the upcoming Computex 2012, one of the largest computer and technology fairs in the world held every year in Taipei. The price starts form 72,800 depending on the configuration and will be available soon.
