EPSON Unveils World's Smallest Printer

Bangalore: Epson introduced India’s first smallest all in one printer. The newest and smallest all-in-one model of the Epson ME Office series is also the world’s smallest all-in-one inkjet printer, which combines compact footprint and environmentally friendly design with the low cost per page of the Epson ME Office range.

In 2010, Epson committed to growing its sales and presence in business printing by introducing various inkjet models with very low cost per page. These included the Epson ME (“Max Economy”) Series for SOHO users, the Epson ME Office series for small to medium sized businesses (SMBs) and the Epson B-series inkjets for workgroups in medium to enterprise-sized businesses.

“Last year, Epson committed to grow our business printing market by lowering the cost of printing for our customers through printer models with extremely low cost per page,” says Samba Moorthy, Division Head – Sales & Marketing, Epson India. “This year, we reinforce that commitment by expanding our low running cost models to offer even more capabilities – from space savings, to even lower cost per page for monochrome and colour document printing. We are confident that no matter what our customers’ business printing needs are, there is now a perfect Epson inkjet for them to reduce their running costs.”

Better print quality and more flexible media options

The Epson DURABrite Ultra pigment ink used by the new printers produces ultra-sharp text that is comparable to laser quality and better grayscale graphic prints on plain paper than laser printers. Prints are also smudge, fade and water-resistant. In addition to plain paper, the printers can also print on a wide range of media that laser printers cannot – such as photo paper and specialty media.

The Epson ME Office 535 is an ultra-compact printer that is currently the world’s smallest all-in-one printer, and the latest model of Epson’s ME Office range. First introduced in 2010, Epson’s ME Office series printers have been specifically designed to provide business users outstanding value through higher performance and lower running cost.

Nicknamed the “small–in-one”, the Epson ME Office 535 has been specifically designed to help users conserve space with its ultra-compact and attractive-looking chassis. Compared to its predecessor, the Epson Stylus TX220, the Epson ME Office 535 uses 19 percent fewer components, and is an incredible 39 percent smaller in size and 24 percent smaller in footprint.

Like the other models in Epson’s ME Office range, the Epson ME Office 535 produces optimum quality prints by using the ME141 inks that offer a very affordable running cost of $ 3.4 cents cost per page for monochrome printing and $ 5.3 cents for colour prints.
