Countdown: 10 Recently Launched Smartphones
#4 HTC Desire 700, 601 and 501
HTC has expanded its desire range of Smartphones with addition of new mid-range handsets, Desire 501, Desire 601, and Desire 700 in India. All these new releases come with dual SIM support. In Indian stores Desire 501 carries a price tag of
16,890, with Desire 601 and 700 carrying a price tag of
24,190 and
33,050 respectively. While Desire 700 and Desire 601 Smartphones apparently run on an unspecified Android Jelly Bean mobile platform, Desire 501 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Desire 501 lacks BlinkFeed, the proprietary user interface by HTC, when compared to the other two devices. Under their hoods, the 700 is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and an Adreno 305 GPU whereas the other two lower models sport a capable dual-core 1.4 GHz processor. 700 and 501 have a feature filled 8 MP cameras while the 601 carries a 5 MP snapper. All the devices with the exception of 601 have 8 GB of internal storage with the former having 4 GB, but they all can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD.
