7. Set-top Boxes

We all know about the upcoming Smart TVs which are basically Android powered TVs. All huge TV makers have stepped in to this Smart TV bandwagon and the TV market is flourishing with this new breeds.

To increase the capabilities of your gigantic HDTV and to make it more powerful entertainment hub now there are set-top boxes which comes with the Android power. One such worth mentioning device in this category is Portronics Limebox. The Limebox comes has numerous connectivity options, 1080p video playback and you can also download huge number of Apps from the Android store.  The cost of this device is 8,499.

8. Robot

A Google Android-inspired robot named BERO has came into existence.  This Android looking and Android powered robot can be controlled using an app in your Android smartphone or tablet. BERO is inspired by the Google Bug Droid which is an open source robot.

To detect obstacles which are about five inches away BERO has two integrated infrared transmitters for navigation. The robot is even capable of interacting with users. This cute little buddy is still in development and is expected to launch by the end of 2013.
