HCL launched two budget tablets in the market which the intention of competing with Datawind’s Aakash. Even though the price seems to be much higher when compared to Aakas, but the specs are much better which makes you invest on this device.

The two newly launched device; MyEduTab HE (Higher Education) and MyEduTab K-12 comes loaded with NCERT contents. MyEduTab K-12 is for personal leaning with topic revision apps and a self assessment engine; it also has NCERT K12 Mapped Content, solved examples, chapter quizzes, key revision points, free NCERT textbooks, standard Hindi and English content and GK Content for junior classes.

The MyEduTab HE has all the NCERT contents for higher classes with rich multimedia content on technical and professional skills. It features interactive learning exercises for professional development and networking, cloud service, online e-books, LinkedIn for professional networking and online educational videos.

Key Specs: Both the tablet sports almost same features, the difference is only in terms on educational content, apps and the device make.
