If we are to forget how the marriage ended, this would be by far one of the most romantic marriages.  When Heather Mills dresses in a gown of ecru lace, entered the 17th-century Protestant church on the remote Castle Leslie estate in Ireland, the song “Heather” written by McCartney was played. Te bride carried in her hand 11 red pink McCatnry roses which were named after the singer in 1993.

If you thought that was all, while Mills said her vows she was overcome with emotions and tears welled up in her eyes forcing her to falter while speaking.

But sadly this marriage couldn’t last more than 6 years. The divorce hearing lasted for 6 days and on February 18, 2008 the couple was granted the divorce. Since then McCartney has gone on to say that his marriage to Heather Mills was one of his biggest mistakes that he ever made.
