Canon India unveils 'Oce Arizona' printer

New Delhi: Canon India, one of the world leaders in digital imaging technology, announced the release of the next generation 'Oce Arizona 360 GT' wide format UV cured flatbed printer, offering high production speeds and support for white ink printing. The launch of this latest Oce printer was made at the 'India Sign + Digital Show' expo in New Delhi today.
The Oce Arizona 360 GT can print on a wide variety of rigid substrates and offers printing onto flexible roll media via the roll media option. It Incorporates Oce VarioDot imaging technology for outstanding image quality, designed for productivity. Oce Arizona 360 GT has been regarded as the next generation model in the award-winning Oce Arizona printer series.
The Oce Arizona 360 GT model features the standard table size of 49 by 98.4 inches. Its Express Mode print speed of up to 377 square feet per hour is ideal for banner and outdoor work.
This new model includes a UV curing system designed by Oce that provides more UV energy to support difficult-to-cure media while reducing heat at the media surface by 50 percent. This improves support for heat-sensitive media such as thin polystyrene or polyester films.
Oce Arizona sports a True flatbed design. This printer can print on a wide range of media including irregularly shaped or non-square items, heavy substrates such as glass, or materials that have an uneven surface such as wood. The Variodot technology uses Grey Scale heads to vary the dots for optimized Ink usage and near photographic quality. The White Ink technology in the printer helps in printing on colored media like MDF, tiles and ACP.
The specific features of the Oce Arizona 360 GT is based on the exceptional image quality combined with reliability, quick return on investment and first class support. The Arizona 360 GT builds on this platform with a maximum print speed increase produces results that are near photographic image quality with sharpness only before seen at resolutions of 1,440 dpi or higher. Designed as a true flatbed system it can print on a wide variety of rigid substrates. The additional benefit to our customers is very low ink consumption, as low as 50 percent less than six colour fixed drop systems.
