Buffalo expands LinkStation line up with Pro Quad

Bangalore: Storage solution provider Buffalo has announced the launch of its LinkStation Pro Quad 4Bay network storage. Available in three capacities, the 2TB model is priced at
27,000, 4TB at
34,000 and a 8TB version at
51,000. All the models come with three years of warranty.
It features four hard drives and multiple levels of RAID redudancy, helping in data protection. It is also available in enclosure model (without hard drive) at a price of
14,000. It allows storing and back up of files from multiple locations in one central place.
Content from Internet can directly be downloaded into the network storage, which also has file sharing services over the Internet through your iPhone or iPad. The LinkStation Pro Quad is powered by a 1.6 GHz processor allowing network transfer speed up to 78 MB/s.
