BlackBerry Playbook to arrive India on 23 June

Bangalore: BlackBerry Playbook will soon be available for Indian consumers. Research In Motion has issued pre registration process for the tablet and it will be on the basis of first come first serve.
The device is said to hit the Indian market by June 23, however the price at which it will be available is not yet disclosed but it is expected to cost between Rs 27,000 to Rs 30,000.
Earlier the tablet was expected to be launched in May but due to delay in shipments the India arrival was postponed.
BlackBerry experience zones have been set up at various places in the country, where pre registration forms will be available where you can grab one of those forms to get your own Playbook. After completing all the formalities with the form, you can purchase the device from the nearest BlackBerry store by showing the pre registration token given to you during the pre booking.
A free leather case and an HDMI cable for connecting the Playbook to a big screen television will be offered to all its pre registered consumers.
The Blackberry Playbook features display with a capacitive touchscreen of 16M, 600 x 1024 pixels, 7.0 inches - multi-touch input method. The camera is 5 MP, 2592x1944 pixels, autofocus and comes with Wi-Fi.
