Best e-Reader Apps for Android Tablets
4. Mantano Reader
This app comes with a beautiful interface and it lets you pick among Library, Notes and Lexicon. The Notes lets you take notes in your eBook which you can refer later. The Lexicon is a dictionary that looks for the meaning of relevant words using Google based online dictionaries.
The sad part is that the application doesn’t support many formats. It just reads PDF and EPUB formats. But the best and the most interesting feature in this app is you can make it read the eBook for you using its text-to-speech feature.
The app is very good in performance, there is no lagging while turning pages and the switch from portrait to landscape mode is also instant. The customization part is a bit on the downside, you can’t adjust the spacing, font, margins and all that. But the app do have few advanced features like automatic and manual margin removal for PDFs, adjustment to one column for multi-column documents and zooming and shifting (Pan & Zoom).
The Lite version of the app is available in Google Play for free, but the Premium version will cost you
492.
