BenQ Launches its First High Zoom Digital Cameras in India


Bangalore: BenQ entered the high zoom digital camera market in India by launching two new high zoom digital cameras; the GH600 and the GH700. Both of these point-and-shoot compact digital camera sports 16 megapixel sensors with 21x optical zoom and 3 inch LCD screen.

“With the launch of our GH series digital cameras, we bring an extensive range of high zoom cameras that boast of all powerful features that matter to a photography enthusiast. These cameras combine the advantages of point-and-shoot cameras with DSLR-like imaging effects,” said Rajeev Singh, Country Head, BenQ India.

The GH600 camera is capable of shooting videos in HD 720p at 30 frames per second and also comes with dedicated recording button which gives a quick access to start recording. While the GH700 camera is slighter costlier than the previous one and comes with high performance optical zoom lens, high-speed digital signal processor and BSI CMOS image sensor which the company claims to minimize the noise level by up to 50 percent.

Both the cameras also features 1cm Macro mode that allows capturing super close-up shots and packed with lots of filters effects.

The BenQ GH600 is priced at 10,999 and available in black and white color, while the GH700 is available only in black color for 15,999.
