Specifications: Kindle Fire comes with a 7-inch 1024 X 600 pixels screen, 6 GB of storage and 8 hours of battery life. It weighs around 408 g and costs 15,000.

Strength: Kindle Fire gives the ultimate access to all Amazon contents; a prime member of Amazon can watch videos, read eBooks and play games for almost free. The Kindle Fire has one of the best user interfaces and the Amazon app store is a blessing as the Amazon’s entertaining ecosystem is quite amazing.

Weakness: Doesn’t have Bluetooth, front-facing camera, built-in microphone, GPS, or volume control buttons. The design of the device is very basic and the 1,024x600-pixel screen resolution is pretty less when compared to Nexus and iPad. Kindle Fire is a closed Android tablet, so you can’t access Google Play Store; you just have the liberty to have the apps from Amazon’s market which has somewhat same kind of apps as in Google Play. There is no expandable memory or cellular wireless broadband option.

Extra Note: The Kindle Fire 2 is rumored to come in the second half of 2012. There are also saying that it might come by the end of July and the present Kindle Fire’s price will drop to around 8,000. So, we can expect that the specs of the next Kindle Fire will the similar to the Google Nexus tablet.
