Apple Silently killed these 11 Ultimate products

Non-Retina Display iPad 2:

The iPad 2 was released as a huge redesign of iPad, with its compatible magnetic cover and in black and white combination. It was also the first ever phone to have a front facing camera.

Three years after its launch, people seemed to be fond of iPad mini rather. The higher-resolution Retina Display version, which was offered at the same $399, put the non-Retina iPad 2 out to pasture, which was replaced by iPad Air.

iPhone 5:

When iPhone 5S and 5C were launched in 2013, Apple discontinued iPhone 5. This was considered to be an interesting move because in the past, Apple had used previous generation phones to fill the lower price point, but not in case of iPhone 5. The company kept iPhone 4S as the lower price point filler and completely erased iPhone 5 from the market.

However, this did not make much of a difference to the iPhone 5 users as iPhone 5C is just as good as 5 with few minor tweaks and comes in a range of colors and a polycarbonate shell.

32GB iPhones:

iPhone 6 and 6 plus skipped the 32GB storage capacity phones and offers the phone in 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB. This called an end to the era of 32GB iPhones.

iPhone 3Gs was the triggered the 32GB devices, followed by iPhone 4s, 5, 5S and 5C.

While some Apple users are not very happy about this step taken by the company, economists consider this as the most profitable move ever by Apple. The 64 GB iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus may very well be Apple’s new profit-making machines. It fetches them a $100 extra, as 16GB is low in capacity, making 64GB the only option.
