Android Phone 'S Huawei Ascend Y100' for 5,990

Bangalore: Spice Mobiles have partnered with Huawei to launch a new budget Android smartphone; Ascend Y100. The phone is priced at 5,990 and is available on saholic.com

Ascend Y 100 comes with a 2.8 inch TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 320 X 240 pixels. The screen size and the resolution is a disappointment when we compare it to other smartphones which fall in the same price category.  The smartphone functions on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It works on a 1050 mAh battery which with a single charge provides up to 300 hours of standby and up to 5 hours of talk time. It also comes with a 3.2 mega pixel fixed focus camera rear camera.

With its specifications we do feel a little cheated as there are smartphones of the same price which comes with a lot more features.
