Acer unveils new notebooks in its 'Gateway' brand


Bangalore: Acer has announced the launch of a new series of notebooks (NV49, NV 59 and ID59) and netbooks (LT21) under its 'Gateway' brand with prices ranging from 22,154 to 48,299. According to Acer, the notebooks are designed to address the evolving needs and expectations of consumer notebook users in the country. With its ultra-small form factor, the LT21 netbook is claimed to be more portable than a magazine. It combines six plus hours of power and facilitates comfortable viewing and typing. LT21 netbook is available in two colors - Night sky black and cherry red. It comes with a price tag of 22,154. Gateway's NV Series - NV49 and NV59, notebooks feature an elegant design and offer good performance and usability. Presenting cinematic 16:9 views on a 14.0 inch and 15.6 inch Ultrabright LCDs, NV Series notebooks are perfect for on-the-go entertainment. The NV Series is available in four colors, exhibiting an artistic wave pattern for a great visual appearance. The NV49 comes at a price of 37,799, while the NV59 comes for 39,374 and 48,299 depending on the configuration. The Gateway ID59 Series are thin, light and can fit as a mobile home theater and studio. It comes in Arctic Silver color and glowing touchpad. Its metal-like keys match the cover for a seamless look. All the new products in this range are powered by Intel Core processors except the LT21, which is powered by Intel Atom processor.
