Acer to Launch Two Smartphones at IFA, 2012

Bangalore: Acer has made an announcement that they will unveil two new smartphone at the IFA, 2012 scheduled to happen in Berlin, Germany from August 31^st to September 5^th, 2012. IFA is the leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliance. So at the end of the month we can look forward to the release of Acer Liquid Gallant and Acer Liquid Gallant Duo smartphones.

Acer Liquid Gallant

The smartphone Acer Liquid comes with a 4.34 inch HD touch screen and it will be powered by a 1 GHz processor and comes with 1 GB RAM. The phone will function on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It features 5 mega pixel camera, internal memory of 4 GB and also comes with a slot for a microSD card with which the memory can be expanded up to 32 GB and has a powerful 1,500 mAh battery.

The Surround Sound feature on the phone will provide the listeners with clear audio. The phone is likely to be launched in two colours; Gentle Black and Ceramic White.

Acer Liquid Gallant Duo:

The smartphone, Acer Liquid Gallant Duo will have all the same features like the Liquid Gallant except that it would come with dual-SIM support.

The prices of both the handsets haven’t been announced yet, for that we would have to wait for the official launch.
