Zen Mobile Launches Ultra Tab A100 Tablet for 6,199

Bangalore: Zen Mobile has launched a new Android ICS based tablet to join the budget tablet army in Indian market. This tablet costs 6,199 officially, but Homeshop18 is giving it for 5,999 at present.

Ultra Tab A100 is a 7-inch tablet which sports an 800x480p resolution display, 1.3-megapixel camera for video chat, an external TF card reader for up to 32GB of storage and a 2800 mAh battery.  The device comes powered with 1.2GHz processor, MALI 400 GPU and gives a customized Ice Cream Sandwich experience along with company’s 3D User Interface for Android.

Other noticeable goodies in this device are the preloaded apps social networks, readers and music hub, and Bollywood flick. The tablet also supports standard Flash and HTML5.

At the launch Deepesh Gupta, Managing Director Zen Mobile, said “We are committed to deliver a great user and entertainment experience with the latest technologies that will inspire and spark everyone's curiosity. We have put in a lot of thoughtful features and applications in our new product offering Ultratab - A100”, reports NDTV.

This new tablet will face a tough competition from already existing player in the market like the Micromax Funbook, Karbonn Smart Tab 1 and the newly launched Mercury mTab.
