Yu YU5200 Rumored to Release in India Soon


BENGALURU: Recently, Yu released their smartphone Yu Yutopia, now the company might have also imported YU5200, another mid-range 4G smartphone. GFXBench reveals that it will have a 5.2-inch screen, will be powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, similar to the Yureka Plus, but this will have 3GB of RAM, reports FoneArena.com.

In addition, rumored specifications include a 1.6GHz Octa-core 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. The phone might also comprise of 16GB internal memory and expandable memory with microSD. It is rumored to run on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The smartphone will feature a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, 1080p video recording and a 5MP front facing camera. In terms of other features, the phone will support 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The smartphone has been imported to India for 9,036, so Yu5200 estimated price could be less than 10,000 when it launches.

In December, 2015, Yu had launched its smartphone Yu Yutopia, at 24,999. In terms of specifications, the smartphone has a 5.2-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution along with 565ppi. It comes with 91 percent NTSC spec, pure black touch panel, OGS display with Corning Concore Glass for protection. The smartphone is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor with 4GB DDR4 RAM. It also comes with an internal storage of 32GB that can be further expanded via microSD card. Moreover, the device uses Quick Charge 2.0 from Qualcomm and is powered by a 3000mAh non removable battery.
