Xiaomi Mi Band Successor Coming With Built-In Heart-Rate Monitor

BENGALURU: Xiaomi is all set to launch its successor to Mi Band. The company is known to venture into the unexplored territory like Android wearables. The industry is still not explored to its maximum potential and Xiaomi is keen on marking its big name, reports IB Times.

The new fitness band, Mi Band 1S, comes with upgrades that makes the band superior in competition with other bands available in the market.

The leaked pictures show an additional sensor on the rear of the device. The exact purpose of the sensor is not revealed, however, the previous version lacked a heart-rate sensor, thus, it is speculated that the sensor can be a heart-rate sensor.

The appearance is almost similar to its previous model, consisting of 3 LED lights along with an aluminum cap. The new band can be paired with several Android Smartphones and can easily track calories burned and several other things.
