Vodafone Blue 555 Launched in India

Bangalore: Vodafone Blue 555 is a feature phone that does well to what it is meant for, which is Facebook. There are not many devices that are focused primarily on Facebook; we have a couple of mobiles from HTC and a handful from the rest of the other mobile manufacturers. It seems like Vodafone found some demand for one at a more affordable price point. At the tag price of 4, 635 it weighs just around 99g. Features a 2.4 inch TFT display with the resolution of around 240 x 320 pixels, which is a decent amount of pixels count per inch that makes the texts more readable. It runs on a proprietary OS which is specially designed for this device to have as much facebook features loaded into the interface. It has 2 MP camera to the rear end with LED flash support which takes average quality pictures with flash enabled and it also does video capture. It can playback MP3 audio files. Connectivity options include GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm headphone jack, microUSB 2.0. It comes with an internal memory of 40 MB which can be expanded up to 16GB with microSD card. Battery life on the device is impressive with support for 10 hours of talktime and 60 hours of standby time with its 1000 mAh powered battery.
