Upcoming Dual-SIM Galaxy S Duos has Galaxy S3 Looks
Bangalore: Samsung seems to gear-up the mid-range dual-SIM smartphone market in India. The company is coming up with a refreshed version of Galaxy S with dual-SIM functionality and the handset will be named Galaxy S Duos. At the first glance the Galaxy S Duos looks like Galaxy S3 - the latest high-end smartphone of the company.
This upcoming Galaxy S Duos was spotted on the website GSM Arena and the specs tell that it will not at all make its big brother jealous. Galaxy S Duos will have a 4-inche 480x800 TFT display compared to the 4.3-inch 720x1280 AMOLED display of Galaxy S3. The upcoming handset will be powered by a 1 Ghz Cortex-A5 processor along with 512MB RAM and will run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The new phone will support dual-SIM with dual standby for Quad-band 2G for both the SIMs.
Galaxy S Duos will have a 4GB internal storage, a microSD card slot to expand the memory upto 32GB, a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, and supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi with hotspot feature, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS.
In the past few months Samsung has added many new dual-SIM smartphone into its product portfolio, these products include Galaxy Ace Duos (GSM+CDMA), Galaxy Y Pro Duos, Galaxy Y Duos and the recently released GSM+GSM version of the Galaxy Ace Duos.
