The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with a 7 inch screen is the smallest tablet in the Galaxy family. But this does not mean that it is in no way less of a competition for iPad Mini.

The 7 inch PLS LCD capacitive touch screen comes with a resolution of 1024 X 600 pixels. The tablet functions on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It is powered by a 1.0 GHz dual core processor and backed by 1 GB of RAM.

The tablet is available in two colour variants; white and black. Along with the Google Store the users also have an access to the various Samsung Hubs which has games, book and music. The gadget comes with a 3 mega pixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera which allows the user to make video calls.

The tablet from Samsung comes in three memory variants; 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB and it is available for 11,000 onwards. Along with the internal memory the tablet comes with a slot for a microSD card which allows the user to expand the memory up to 32 GB.
