Time Up For Xiaomi's Redmi Note First Look!


BANGALORE: Xiaomi is out with its first phablet – The Redmi Note, which will start selling from the December 2nd at 8999 on Flipkart at 2:00 P.M. Over the weekend, the company revealed that up to 50,000 units of the Red Note will go on sale. Interestingly, Flipkart hasn’t revealed the numbers of registration for the 2nd December sale.

Games, webpage and apps will run more smoothly with this processor than Xiaomi earlier Smartphones.
Mali – 450 GPU will give 1.4x better graphics performance than the Mali – 400 with rich textures and subtle shading for game lovers.

The Redmi Note has 5.5” HD IPS display, which will makes games, ebooks, and video more vibrant, clear, and bigger than Xiaomi Redmi 4.7Inches display. 178 degree in – plane switching technology delivers stunning color consistency from almost any angle and with Glass-film-film (GFF) architecture, pixels sit closer to the glass, which allows colors to pop off the screen. Images are not only brighter, but also less affected by glare.

The Redmi Note has been equipped with 13MP rear facing camera and 5MP front facing camera. A 28 millimeter wide-angles lens lets you capture more with each shot. Red Note f/2.2 aperture and 28mm wide angles lens focus in on objects in the foreground, while blurring objects in the background.

Despite bigger screen, Xiaomi claims of longer battery life because Redmi uses 3100 mAh Lithium –Ion polymer battery. Xiaomi mentions that’s battery performance will last 14 hours for 3G internet, 38 hours 2G internet, 60 hours music playback, 775 hours standby time.

The Redmi Note is packed with features like: Gyroscope, Compass, Wi-Fi Direct Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, USB On-The-Go, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Ambient noise reduction mic, SD card slot. Dual SIM with 1 WCDMA slot for 3G and 1 GSM slot for 2G data.
